ONG Comunidad Tawantinsuyu is working on the following thematic areas:
Traditional Medicine
- Coca Leaf:
Creation of an International Network for the Defense of the Coca Leaf, being the main objective the creation of a legal market for this Sacred Plant, based on the following subjects: Tradition and Culture, Health and Nutrition, Environment and Agriculture and Industrialization and Commerce. - Wachuma:
Study, recovery and preservation of the use of this Sacred Plant (Trichocereus Pachanoi), as part of the therapeutical process in the cure of the physical, psychic and spiritual bodies of the human being. Medical research based on the application of daily microdoses in patients. - Ayahuasca:
Study, recovery and preservation of the Cosmovision of the Amazon People. As well as the use of this Sacred Plant (Banisteriopsis Caapi) as part of the therapeutical process in the cure of the physical, psychic and spiritual bodies of the human being. - Creation of Botanic Medicinal Gardens:
Protection, preservation and increased use of our medicinal plants, through the implementation of botanical gardens in diverse native communities. Elaboration of essences, essential oils and other natural products, for the financial benefit of each community, as well as reinforcing concepts related to denomination of origin (high quality development of the population’s resources) and bioprospection (native knowledge on plants and patents).
Creation of Intercultural Health Centers:
- Implementation of and equipment for Intercultural Health Centers in the communities, starting with the botanical gardens with medicinal plants.
- Training in the use of medicinal plants, by groups: healers, health personnel, teachers, students, women, population in general.
Nutritious Plants and Nutrition:
- Promote the development of projects on reforestation and conservation of the biological diversity.
Ecological Agriculture:
- Development of Permaculture in Peru, improving the life quality of our population.
Archaeological Monuments:
- Restore and revalue archaeological sites.
- Aypate (Ayabaca – Piura)
- Chavín de Huantar (Callejón de Conchucos – Huaraz)
Intercultural Bilingüal Education:
- Promote education with a perspective of respect and positive and creative acceptance with regard to the Ancestral Wisdom of the First People, as well as the cultural and lingüistical diversity in the country.
- Contribute to the creation of Intercultural Art Schools.
Culture and Traditions:
Promote the preservation and development of all cultural aspects and traditions of the communities: handicrafts, dance, music, legends and myths.
