¿Would you like to discover the Amazon through drawing and painting?
NYI School of Art is open for you in Yarapa, a privileged site beside the Ucayali river. We invite you to feel the powerful and magical Amazonian Nature, within the National Reserve of Pacaya Samiria. To experience the Jungle that gives shape to the ways of living and seeing life of the people around the Ucayali river. And practice a susteinable and supportive tourism participating in the school of art created to support the children in Puerto Miguel.
NYI offers individual or group workshops, with a duration of 7 days minimum and 30 days maximum, which includes lodging and all meals at NYI Camp in Yarapa. The classes are in charge of the teachers at the school of art and are directed towards the individual or group objectives, based on the personal search of the participants. Each participant will be able to discover and study in depth the techniques of your choice, through the observation of the local flora and fauna.

A wide selection of materials. The following painting techniques will be used: charcoal, pastel, among others. Painting techniques: oil, watercolor, acrylic… Modeling: clay…
Daily practice: 7 hours. We will organize walks along the river and the forest, always carrying our sketch books. We will also go fishing, admire the pink dolphins or just lie down in a hammock and listen to the animals and bird in the jungle.
